Objective

Challenge

To align our product offer with last-minute travel trends, increased domestic travel and the need for greater safety and security.

Solution

Our entity in the United States enhanced its travel insurance proposal to travel agents by offering coverage for Terrorism, FAA airport shutdowns and airline bankruptcies. It also introduced QuickTrip TM Protector, an affordable solution for last-minute travellers, who do not require trip cancellation but still want coverage for interruption, medical incidents, baggage loss and emergency assistance.

Italy: Packaged travel solutions meet needs of a fast-paced market

To continually upgrade the offer designed for Italian Travel Agents in line with the growing and fast-paced evolutions of their customers’ individual needs.

Solution

Our Italian unit designed two customised insurance products: a modernised Assipass offers modular insurance components which can be combined in a variety of ways to build customised policies and give broader individual coverage; and Globy, a new internet based product offer consisting of 7 pre-designed insurance packs corresponding to different customer profiles. Globy reduces policy subscription time and is fast, safe and easy to use.
