Asia-Pacific - Contracts for simplicity, consistency and peace of mind

 

Objective

To develop reasonable solutions to meet the requirements of an extensive new automobile launch. New car sales were expected to grow more rapidly than the number of dealers and garages capable of repairing the new model.

Challenge

To design a solution which would allow for making repairs in case of a breakdown or minor accident, while avoiding risks on the warranty coverage. A roadside assistance product seemed a possible solution, but how would the programme’s consistency and service standard be guaranteed and the brand image reinforced?

Solution

To import the concept of the pan-European contract and adapt it to the context in Asia. This included, among other things, implementing a mobility programme for all vehicles sold in the region with identical benefits and access conditions; one telephone contact number per country; seamless treatment of cross border incidences with no financial surcharges as per the Group’s internal regulations; a single commercial point of contact.

Thailand : we have the drive

 

Objective

To set up the first true roadside assistance service in Thailand.

Challenge

To adapt the service offer to meet the country’s very particular local urban conditions.

Solution

To design a fleet of repair “motorcycles” capable of intervening quickly on Bangkok’s relentlessly congested city streets and providing motorists in difficulty with quality, efficient, real time assistance services. Service providers also wear easily recognisable uniforms so they stand out in a crowd. Our solutions are anything but standard, because each client, each country and each requirement is unique.

Belgium : Placing warranty administration in our hands !

 

Objective

To relieve an important corporate client of time consuming warranty administration tasks.

Challenge

To provide a range of warranty administration services and extensions to bring added value to client offer, while diminishing client’s work load and freeing up valuable time to concentrate on its core business.

Solution

To design a customised software programme to collect, store and report on all client customer activities, and enable us to manage each step in the process, from initial registration right through to claims settlements. We also designed and set up new and extended warranties for new and used vehicles.
