Business Travel Assist provides companies - multi-nationals and nationals alike - with a comprehensive travel risk solution to ensure the safety of employees while they travel on business or work on projects abroad.
To begin with, Business Travel Assist clients benefit from the comprehensive CORE product, which includes service assistance, technical assistance, travel assistance and medical assistance. In addition, clients can add any or all of the four OPTIONAL MODULES solutions outlined below to their business travel strategy, or subscribe to a module(s) without the Core product.

Organisation of call re-routings in case of mobile phone loss
Information on closest service provider for hardware repairs
Information service for relatives, employers, etc.

Arrangements for attorneys and interpreters

24-hour travel agency (when contracting party is unreachable)
Reservation, booking, depositing of airline tickets

Organisation of roadside assistance, towing, recovery, replacement part acquisition, etc.

Information on German-speaking or English-speaking physicians and hospitals with an adequate medical standard, as far as possible
Covers reimbursement for the costs of acutely necessary medical assistance abroad:
Physician and hospital costs, as well as medications prescribed by a physician
Patient repatriation already when medically sensible, including rescue flights if necessary
Transfer costs in case of death, or optionally burial locally.
The Mondial Assistance Business Travel Assist Service and Emergency Call Centre offers practical assistance worldwide in case of illness.
Reimburses the current value of your luggage (including technical equipment) in the event of robbery or theft, as well as damage or loss during transportation, up to €4000, less the agreed-upon deductible amount of € 50 per occurrence (€ 250 per occurrence for computer equipment, jewelry and valuables).
Provides reimbursement in case of use of the booked services differently than planned for an insured reason
The cancellation costs for airline and train tickets owed under contract
In case of delayed commencement of travel, the additional costs of the outbound trip
In case of curtailment of travel, the additional return costs
Each up to a maximum of € 2,500. If a trip is canceled due to outpatient medical treatment or pregnancy, a deductible of 20% applies (min. € 25 per person).
If an accident during travel for business purposes leads to permanent disability or death of the insured person, Mondial Assistance will pay compensation of € 50,000 upon death and € 100,000 upon disability. Recovery costs will be reimbursed up to € 10,000.
